As most of you have noticed, our web site. forums, and downloads were
down for periods of time yesterday and today.
This is due to me moving the web site to a new server, so I am sorry
for any inconvenience this may
have caused. Anyways, you guys should notice drastic improvements in
site loading speed because our site is now on
a server with a badder CPU as well as more RAM. On the other hand, I
have finally chosen the remaining 2 winners, so the contest has come to
an end. Thank you all for participating in it, and I hope to have

Sorry about the lack of updates recently, because exam period is here.
I will
be done near the end of the month, so expect many updates :). Anyways,
regarding our
first ever contest, I have received 3 shipping info from 5 of the
winners, and I think I have waited long enough for their reply. So for
the 2 remaining prizes, if you are interested (and have not won yet, of

then do another draw for 2 winners, since there are inactive forum

During the past few weeks, we have worked hard to complete our ROM
section for our
users to download. As you may have noticed, we have new sections for
Atari 5200, Atari 7800,
Atari Jaguar, Atari Lynx, Sega Game Gear, and Sega Master System. This
brings our total
ROM collection to be over 7,500! We are currently working on adding the
full MAME set,
so please stay tuned!

It has been a while since I updated, but this time I have added 284
Nintendo 64 screenshots!
I hope our screenshots will benefit our users by providing them with a
preview option before downloading the ROM.
Anyways, I am in the middle of a large Sega Saturn update, so please
stay tuned. By the way, if you don't already
know, CoolROM.com's first ever contest will end today. If you are

Sorry about the long period with no updates, but I have been very busy
with other aspects of
my life :( I will reply too all of the emails as soon as I can.
Anyways, after long consideration, we have decided to open a forum for all
of our loyal visitors to chat in! We hope it will become a friendly

people in need. We have even
opened a ROM Request section for our visitors, but please keep in mind

We noticed that our redirection script to files that we do not carry
led to a
loop voting system. I have removed all links which correspond to this
script. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused
our visitors.
Anyways, CoolROM should now be a lot easier to navigate, and even more
surfer friendly!
